Dr. Deep Dutta is an astute clinician, endocrinologist, and academician, currently working as Consultant Endocrinologist (Adult & Pediatric) at Venkateshwar Hospitals, Dwarka, New Delhi.

 

Previously he was associated with Department of Endocrinology at PGIMER & Dr. RML Hospital New Delhi as A. Professor (2014 -2016).

Dr. Dutta has an extremely  distinguished academic profile. He is MBBS from Jawarharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry; an institute of national importance with the best MBBS training in India.

 

Subsequently, he has done his MD in Internal Medicine from Calcutta Medical College and Hospital, the oldest medical college of Asia established in 1835. He did his DM in Endocrinology & Metabolism from one of the Nation’s most premier medical institute, Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education & Research (IPGMER) Kolkata. Thereafter he also completed his DNB in Endocrinology from the prestigious National Board of Examinations, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi.

He was awarded the Specialty Certificate in Endocrinology & Diabetes by the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the

United Kingdom, the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists and the Society for Endocrinology (MRCP, UK) in June 2015.

He was awarded the prestigious Fellow of American College of Endocrinology (FACE) by the American College of Endocrinology, USa in January 2016.

He has more than 16 years experience in the field of medical sciences, and has experience in management of difficult and challenging cases of diabetes, thyroid and other hormonal disorders.

 

He has more than 110 different publications with >600 citations in high impact indexed peer-reviewed international journals of Endocrinology and allied specialties (as of November 2016), highlighting his knowledge and clinical acumen.

He has received several awards including the best research during DM training, the AV Gandhi Memorial Award of 2013, carrying prize of Rupees One lakh.

He was a runner up for the Endocrine Society of India (ESI)- Torrent Young Scholar Award (TYSA) Endocrinology, for best DM candidate with a cash prize of fifty thousand Rupees in 2013.

He has undergone training in advanced molecular methods in Biochemistry at Department of Biochemistry, Hanover Medical School Germany.

He has presented various research papers, done oral presentations and various conferences and forums across the globe which include Chicago & Houston, USA; Barcelona, Spain; Hanover, Germany; Moscow, Russia and Wuhan, China
